Dr. Lauver and staff wish to provide the most up to date, professional and personal comprehensive eye exams along with quality products to the families in our community, while always remembering your time is valuable.  Meet Dr. LauverDr. Robert O. Lauver, III has a Bachelors degree in biology from McDaniel College in Westminster MD, and a Doctorate in Optometry from Salus University in Philadelphia. Dr. Lauver is a native of Chambersburg, Pa and now lives with his wife and 2 sons in Lancaster. Dr Lauver has been practicing Optometry for 13 years and has spent the last 9 years in Strasburg. While attending McDaniel College, Dr. Lauver played 2nd base as a starter during his 4 years of undergraduate studies. Today, Dr. Lauver coaches his sons baseball teams and serves as 12 U commissioner for the local SWS Baseball & Softball Association. His love of baseball lives on today, as he is the Vision Coach for the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers Baseball team. Dr. Lauver is also a Clinical Associate for C.O.V.D. (College of Vision Development) and OEP (Optometric Extension Program), specializing in the studies of developmental and behavioral aspects of the Visual System.
