We have a separate kids waiting area, equipped with toys and crayons to color, and/or he can relax and play a video game while waiting to be examined. Dr Lauver begins all his pediatric exams with an Anxiety Check. He evaluates the child´s level of anxiety before the exam actually begins. For those children who appear nervous and unsure, Dr. Lauver uses his assistant "Mr. Fish," to help calm nerves and complete this painless exam. Kids Glasses & Contact LensesOnce a diagnosis has been determined, we offer a complete line of Infants, Toddlers, Kids, Tweens and Teens frames designed for their comfort & fashion taste, while meeting your insurance or budgetary concerns. We have fit children as young as 9 in contact lenses. If contact lenses are an option, Dr. Lauver will discuss what is best for the health of the eye, ease of daily care and overall pros and cons to contacts verses glasses. ![]() |
